Planned intervention included the reconstruction of the existing port and the construction of the “Eko marina Tučepi” nautical tourism port, as well as the public beach design with the inlet of the “Suhi potok” flood stream in Tučepi settlement. The EIA study considered the impact of the planned intervention on the sea's circulation. For estimating the effects of the intervention on the environment, numerical models and simulations were developed. Simulations were made for both, the existing condition, as well as for the operational phase of the newly constructed port - including variants of the port with the impermeable breakwater and permeable breakwater with free groundwater table.
